My Story

I'm a San Francisco Bay Area local artist and waterman, but most recently, the owner and operator of Fort and Bay Screen Printing and Custom Graphics Co! I've loved expressing my ideas through drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and I'm excited to share this passion with you.

How did I find the time to finally take a crack at working for myself?? I am a merchant mariner gone screen printer. After long periods of time spent at sea, I get to spend long periods of time back at home on dry land. Modern day salts work on various types of sea going vessels ranging from the largest container ships to inland ferry boats. When I'm at sea I work as a navigation officer. I spend my shifts doodling funky drawings on sticky notes, doing a bit of whale watching, and of course monitoring the movement of a huge vessel. From the wheel house, I make sure that the ship gets from one port to another without crashin' and burnin'.
